I cannot breathe deeply. IT IS NOT A SHORTNESS OF BREATH. IT IS NOT ASTHMA OR ANY KIND OF ASTHMATIC RELATED ISSUE. I feel as if when I try to breathe deep, it goes straight down the middle of my chest and then stops right below the middle of my ribcage. It is as if something is blocking it or will not expand. I can rarely get full, deep breaths. I have seen a pulmonary specialist and they could not find anything wrong. I have had chest x-rays. I KNOW SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT. It started about 2 years ago, I started jogging as a form of exercise. It got so bad that I quit because I could not get enough oxygen. Let me reinforce that IT IS NOT A SHORTNESS OF BREATHE. My breathing rhythm is regular, but again, it is As if SOMETHING IS BLOCKING THE EXPANSION OF MY RIBCAGE OR LUNGS. I have done stretches and those do not help, sitting up straight doesn’t help, nor does slumping or bending over to one side. Very rarely can I get a nice, full deep breath. I cannot yawn 9/10 times. It is worsened by cardio exercise. Something is wrong with me but nobody can figure it out.
